Support for community groups to go digital

When Hawke’s Bay goes digital on 30 September this will affect every TV in the region including those in sports clubs, kohanga reos and all not-for-profit community groups.Going Digital together with Hills SignalMaster has launched a competition to support some community groups to go digital.

“After 30 September every analogue TV will need a set-top box if it is to continue receiving pictures and this includes those used by not-for-profit organisations,” said Going Digital National Manager Greg Harford.

Competition winners will receive the necessary equipment and installation to make an existing TV used by the organisation go digital. The competition is open to all not-for-profit community groups in Hawke’s Bay but entries must be received by 15 June.

Entering the competition is easy and can be done online by visiting www.goingdigital.co.nz, where entrants will be required to submit their organisation’s contact details and explain in 50 words or less why their organisation needs help to go digital.
