Training Information

In response to popular demand, Hills Antenna & TV Systems has developed range of antenna and MATV training courses for installers and integrators to meet their training needs.

An introductory course is offered for first time antenna installers to provide an understanding of terrestrial digital TV technologies.  The course focuses on the technical competencies requried to successfully install a digital TV system for free-to-air television and also introduces the student to the important requirements for satellite FTA or other Ku band services.  An introduction to basic MATV systems design is also provided.

Courses are usually run on a needs basis and can be tailored to suit the requirements of the trainees.  All courses include a comprehensive set of notes, certificate of attendance and meals, as required.  Training is delivered in the classroom, combining theory and practical sessions.  Some self-study is required and participants have the opportunity to evaluate their knowledge with an informal assessment.

In addition to general antenna and installer training courses, Hills also offers specific training for consultants and integrators who purchase on high-end MATV equipment and systems.
